Nissan name first used in 1930sIn 1928, Yoshisuke Aikawa founded the actual holding company Nihon Sangyo (日本産業 Okazaki, japan Industries or Nihon Market sectors). The name 'Nissan' originated through the 1930s as an abbreviation[14] applied to the Tokyo stock market place for Nihon Sangyo. This company was this famous Nissan "Zaibatsu" which included Tobata Casting and Hitachi. Nissan Powerplant founded in 1934In 1934, Aikawa separated the widened automobile parts division of Tobata Casting and incorporated it as being a new subsidiary, which he named Nissan Electric motor Co., Ltd. (日産自動車 Nissan Jidōsha?). The shareholders of the new company however were not serious about the prospects of the car in Japan, so Aikawa bought out all of the Tobata Casting shareholders (using capital from Nihon Industrial sectors) in June 1934. At this time, Nissan Motor effectively started to be owned by Nihon Sangyo along with Hitachi.In 1935, construction of its Yokohama place was completed. 44 Datsuns were transported to Asia, Central and South North america. In 1937, the company's main plant was moved for the occupied Manchuria, and named Manchuria Major Industries Developing Co.In 1940, first knockdown kits have been shipped to Dowa Jidosha Kogyo (Dowa Auto), one of MHID’s companies, for assembly. In 1944, the head office seemed to be moved to Nihonbashi, Tokyo, and the company label was changed to Nissan Weighty Industries, Ltd., which the company stored through 1949.
